Job Description –  

Position Title: Aircraft Mechanic

Reports to: Maintenance Operations Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Full-Time

Position Summary

Aircraft Mechanics contribute to aircraft safety by maintaining high standards of workmanship and inspection standards. Mechanics are required to inspect, test, and repair aircraft systems, component parts, etc. and certify accomplishment of their work. They must be capable of performing assigned work to satisfactorily meet regulatory requirements of company standards. Mechanics may be required to train less experienced employees.

Essential Functions

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which the mechanic has been trained and qualified. 
  • Approve aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance when authorized and qualified.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area and return equipment and tools at end of the work shift. 
  • Report inoperative or faulty equipment to the maintenance supervisor in charge. 
  • Complete paperwork for the accomplishment of maintenance. 
  • Ensure that hangar workshops and other areas are maintained in an orderly manner. 
  • Assist the Director of Maintenance (DOM) in maintaining technical manuals in a current status. 
  • Maintain an adequate tool kit.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of aviation procedures/servicing. 
  • Adept in workplace safety best practices. 
  • Ability to attend required training on airframe, engine, and equipment testing. 
  • Available for on-call rotation (nights and weekends).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid Airframe and Power plant Certificate.
  •  2 – 3 years experience as an aircraft mechanic 
  • Recent experience requirements of FAR Part 65.83 and be trained as required by FAA regulations and the Mountain Aviation GMM.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Piaggio or Falcon airframe experience.

Work Conditions:

  • FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment in possible adverse conditions.

Physical Requirements

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

King Air Captain- Full-time

Minimum Qualifications:

− US Citizen

− Valid US Passport

− Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-engine land and instrument ratings

− 1800 hours Total Time

− 400 hours Multi Engine

− First Class Medical

 

King Air SIC Intern- Full-time

Minimum Qualifications:

− US Citizen

− Valid US Passport

− Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-engine land and instrument ratings

− 500 hours Total Time

− 50 hours Multi Engine

− 60 hours Instrument

− First Class Medical

− Is currently enrolled at an accredited college or university studying aviation or has graduated with an aviation degree

from an accredited college or university within the past 12 months.
